There once was alone kangaroo
Who sadly had nothing to do
He had no TV
And no books "So" sad he
"I'll go visit my kin in the Zoo"

Who liked to eat baked sweet potater
"Are you sure it's not yam?"
He replied "Yes, I am
I'll eat you and have sweet 'tater later"

A wharf mouse set sail on a clipper
In a slipper which closed with a zipper
There he slept snug and warm
Away from all harm
And for breakfast he favoured grilled kipper

Said an affluent cheeky chinchilla
When he felt in a vat of vanilla
"This stuff is so tasty
I won't get out hasty
I must have some of this at my villa"

There once was a soft furry mole
Who lived in a cosy dark hole
She tidied her nest
To its very fine best
Then served tea to her cousin the vole

Who lived snug as a bug in a rug
In a cop's veggy plot
'til one day he got caught
Then he served a long stretch in the jug

Who said "I should travel, me thinks".
He made friends as he went
From Cape Horn to Tashkent,
But he got no response form the Sphynx.

There once was a friendly wapiti Entertaining a chum from Haiti. They enjoyed every sight Both by day and by night And between times they slept in a teepee.
