FINE PRINT: Nuada set has an authentic Celtic silver ‘ring-money’ from 5th – 2nd century BC (2100-2400 years old).
Nuada set has an elegant garnet, pearl and silver necklace paired with sterling silver and pearl stud earrings.
We named this set after Nuada, the first King of the Tuatha dé Danann (a supernatural race in Irish mythology) and an Irish god, who was well liked and wise. However, he was forced to give up the throne after he lost his hand. But his successor was so unjust that a silver hand was magically made for him, so he could retake the throne. Nuada is thought to have been a god of hunting and fishing.
A central piece is authentic Celtic silver ring, an ancient currency used by the Celtic tribes of Europe as trade and jewelry, excavated from Celtic settlements in Eastern Europe.
Sterling silver, garnets, pearls.
